Ireland were the only side to hold on to a halftime lead in the 5 matches involving Six Nations and Rugby Championship teams today. Australia, France, England & Argentina had a combined score of 57-15 at halftime in their matches but lost the 2nd half by an aggregate of 6-77.

The strangest (or possibly most telling) Scottish stat from the Six Nations - difference between penalties won & penalties conceded: Fra: +11 Ita: +10 Wal: +7 Ire: +3 Eng: -1 Sco: -30 Scotland both conceded the most (57) & won the fewest (27) penalties in the tournament
