Today we became a Stone Age community. We all had a very important job to do before reporting back to the community leader in our evening meeting. We used the present perfect verb form to write a report detailing everything we had completed during our day! Gayton Primary
Today we investigated rock permeability. We observed the rocks carefully to see if a stream of bubbles escaped the rock. We recorded our observations and concluded which rocks were permeable and impermeable. Gayton Primary
Today started the day with an Escape Room activity to put our knowledge of rocks and soils to the test! Did we break out? … YES WE DID! Gayton Primary
Year 3 have had the best afternoon making their Palaeolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic scenes in a box! The children thought hard about which objects portrayed their chosen era and attached tabs to stand them in the foreground. Well done Year 3! Gayton Primary

We have spent the afternoon as historians! We studied Stone Age artefacts carefully and discussed what insights they have given us into the prehistoric world! We are excited to present our findings through the use of an app! Gayton Primary
