Evening Year 3. Not the start to the term that we expected but hope you are all keeping safe. We would love to see any photos of you having fun in the snow! There is a battle set up on TTRockstars between Y3 & 4. We have a contender already putting Y3 in the lead! Y4_Windmill_CE

In Year 4 we designed and constructed our own sarcophagi, ModRoc’ed a dolly peg into a mummy and moulded miniature clay canopic jars to fit inside…….we got there in the end. 😉

Trying to capture the movement of Hokusai’s Great Wave using our brushstrokes and different tones and shades of blue and ochre. Drama at its best.🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊

Hokusai stated “ …until the age 70, nothing I drew was worthy of notice” . Our children in Year 3 on the other hand have painted something magnificent at the ages of 7 and 8! ❤️

We’ve had a relaxing afternoon in Year 3 today. Looked at the work of Barbara Hepworth then relaxed on the floor, listening to the sea as we drew shells. 🦀🏖
