So proud of the maturity and positive attitude shown by the children in year two on their first day back from the Christmas. Every child came back showing so much aspiration in all lessons. Always making us proud, showing our values and the #LitherlandMossway ⭐️🌈

For our movement breaks in year 2, we have enjoyed listening, dancing to and repeating these wonderful positive affirmations. Our children are wonderful, resilient and strong and need to know it! youtu.be/PGFBxoWqOV0

Amazing aspiration, Emilia! And you are so resilient to do all of this busy work when you are feeling poorly, too. A real embodiment of our school values. So proud 🌈

Year two have enjoyed their hands-on approach to investigating the chronology of events that built up to the sinking of the RMS Titanic in 1912. The children have used their knowledge to create β€˜a chain of events’.

Year two have had such a lovely week focusing on their topic of Kenya with some orienteering and writing beautiful setting descriptions. We were also treated to a well-deserved visit to Rowan Park for a play in the sunshine. Photos to come shortly 😌

What a wonderful way to celebrate our attendance, commitment and aspiration to coming to school everyday. Year two made so many magical memories at Rowan Park as a reward. We hope you enjoy a sunny half- term and well-deserved rest after a busy few weeks! 🌈

Some fantastic computing and history in Year 2 whilst learning all about Amelia Earhart. Did you know that Amelia Earhart was one of the first sixteen women to get a pilot’s license?

The children had a blast completing their Jelly Baby challenge today. All day, every child was responsible for caring for their own jelly baby. We wrote birth certificates, read them stories and built jelly baby homes! 🍭 🍬

Wow..what a year! Yesterday was very emotional but I am so grateful for all the hugs, smiles, kind words and gifts shared. As the saying goes β€˜don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened!’ 🌈 I will miss you all at LMP! Keep shining! 🌈
