It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.

We are concerned that some elderly people may be losing out on their Welfare Benefits due to lockdowns! We are now offering face to face assistance with Benefit applications on an appointment basis. Call us at 0116 278 2001 and we will do our best to help you out

There will be a walk in Pfizer vaccine clinic at Croft Medical Centre, Oadby on Friday 25th June. Anyone over 18 years can drop in between 10:00am - 12:30pm and 3:30pm - 6:00pm. ✅

We at Helping Hands Community Trust are delighted to receive a Grant of £10,500 from ‘Friendly Five Transport’, a local charity in Leicestershire that has been providing excellent and badly needed free transport support to elderly residents and other charities.

The Trustees of Friendly Five Transport have decided for financial reasons that the charity is no longer viable, & have decided to donate the remaining funds to Helping Hands, in recognition of our amazing work.
