You can extend coyote time by crouching in the middle of it! You can use this to long jump very far from the edge, but uncrouching takes away all your speed, so you can't triple.

You can also get a very low long jump by being in Mario's waiting state during the first part of coyote time

Now that's what I call coyote time!
