On March 26, Director Anthony Apollo will host a fireside chat with Commission Chairman Governor Mark Gordon at the 2025 #DCBlockchainSummit hosted by the The Digital Chamber. Governor Gordon will discuss the Commission's progress towards issuing a Wyoming Stable Token in the coming months.

JUST IN: 🇺🇸 Wyoming to launch state issued crypto stablecoin.

We’re honored to be chosen by Wyoming as the token issuance partner for WYST, the first fiat-backed and fully-reserved stablecoin issued by a public entity in the United States. There’s no clearer signal of where finance is heading than a U.S. state putting the dollar onchain.

Today, the Wyoming Stable Token Commission announced that WYST — the first fiat-backed stablecoin issued by a U.S. State — will be deployed via LayerZero. WYST is coming to Solana mainnet and is currently live on testnet along with 6 other blockchains.
