March is the start of meteorological spring & consist of big increases. Expect a big jump in temperatures with 10° in highs & lows at 9°; while rainfall rises by an inch from February. This month consist of the largest growth of daylight with 65 minutes.

Viewing conditions for the worm blood moon will be challenging for tonight; as skies will be mostly cloudy, with mild temperatures mostly in the 50s. The total lunar eclipse will occur overnight with totality mainly between 5-6 AM just before the moon sets after 7 AM.

Totality ended a few minutes ago from the lunar eclipse. Luckily, the skies were good to view across Texoma during the overnight. It's going to be a nice moonset & sunrise in the next hour. A warm front is causing a split in temperatures with 40s in the west & 60s in the east.

Thursday & Friday are First Alert Weather Days for severe weather; as most of Texoma is under a Level 2 (Slight Risk); with an Enhanced Risk for northeastern areas on Friday. The biggest threats will be large hail & damaging winds but an isolated tornado is also possible.
