Just an update about the heat risk Tuesday, as high temperatures reach a range of 100-106 degrees🌡️ in the Columbia Basin and adjoining valleys. In addition the overnight low temperatures only recover to the upper 60s to low 70s, not providing a lot of relief.🥵 #wawx #orwx

In early August, #WWCDCH was notified that blue-green algae was discovered at McNary National Wildlife Refuge in sloughs 3 and 4. Repeat testing continues to show elevated levels, and this area will remain closed.
