Hi, #QueerPrompts !! I'm Rory, a disabled trans man writing a horror/detective novel: Remember You Will Die. Lyle is a disabled gay man battling illness and solitude in the 60s. He's also a paranormal detective unraveling the horrors of a research facility in the NE wilderness.

#QueerPrompts day 2: My summer writing goals have gone well! I finished the last round of edits for The Allies last month and went on to start querying! Now I'm steadily playing with other WIPs and ideas to see what sticks while I'm at it. 🥰

#QueerPrompts Day 2: Not super well, I haven't been able to write as much as I'd like to 😭 But I have been piecing plans together in my head and I think I'm in a good position to keep going with any number of WIPs and I've been rediscovering the joy of self indulgent writing heh

#QueerPrompts day 3: The Allies is set in 1920s - 1940s Louisiana, Europe, and then New York! It starts out in a mysterious orphanage/super soldier facility, then transitions to WWII, and then the mafia two years after. So, the setting varies as time goes on.

Working on a gay cowboy horror novel to keep my brain distracted while I query. 🤠

I write because storytelling has always been a part of my life. My books always have important messages in them, and they're about ND and LGBTQ heroes getting their peace no matter how hard life gets. Two people have told me my stories saved their lives, and that sticks with me.
