I've been trying "scene blocking" lately: writing chunky, almost stream-of-consciousness scenes without letting myself pause to revise. This really helps me figure out approach & where choices feel right. Also gives me a base of text to refine--like a ball of clay on a wheel.

Really enjoyed this op-ed from @drtoddharper. Games don't tend to let you make Fat (capital F) characters--playing the Street Fighter 6 demo was a revelation. I wish more games would get in on the fun.
