I like Louisville sports. I support and oppose many things, but none strongly enough to pick up a pen. Noted medievalist.

All things considered, Louisville's return on the sizable Mikel Brown investment wasn't good: 21 games played, 14 games missed, including the entire postseason. Maybe that's legitimate bad injury luck. Maybe not.

Louisville's math was pretty simple this year. Against top 40 KenPom teams, it went 3-9. It dominated every buy game it played, at least 1.26 ppp in those. Every single time it played against a top 20 KenPom opponent, it was held below 1.06 ppp. And it lost all six games.

Injured?!!! There’s a difference between being injured and being hurt. I’m playing through both!! I’m just saying. No guts no glory!!

Reporters had chances to ask Mikel Brown exactly what was wrong with his back and whether it was his choice to sit out, but they went w/ the emotional moment. This is a difference in reporting style. I’m not saying which one is wrong or right, though I have my personal thoughts

Kentucky getting absolutely drilled by a team missing its best player is not a great look, and serves as a fitting epitaph for a team that was poorly constructed.

Kansas out of the NCAA Tournament in the opening weekend. So is Kentucky. UNC needs a new coach. If we're going to talk about the NIL/portal era killing cinderella, it's killed blue bloods too. Only things that matter in 2026: Competitive NIL and the right coach. That's it.

FWIW, I think Greg Van Tatenhove will be a good choice to run the law school. But my feelings about the Mitch deal are not the same

Mr. Snrub (@wrestling_ii) 's Twitter Profile Photo

This is an outstanding take by a reasonable Democrat. Judge Van Tatenhove is a phenomenal federal judge and it’s reasonable to wonder if the faculty opposition to him being Dean is due to his conservative judicial philosophy. The Mitch Barnhart deal is 100% worthy of scrutiny.

Hitting the playoff game tying 3 to force OT in the same game you threw an alley oop to your literal son is more impressive in and of itself than 6 rings.

Kevin Durant was right about what he said on that burner. The Rockets have a deeply flawed roster. But what was absent in those leaked DMs was any commentary about himself. We see the disparity in this series. LeBron James has always made his teammates better. Durant never has.
