We welcome Dr. Stacyann Bailey from UMass Biomedical Engineering for today's seminar. Her group studies how high-dose palliative radiotherapy weakens bone and raises fracture risk. Using a rat model, her group examines radiation’s effects on bone structure and cells to improve fracture prevention.
