Monday 3/23. In response to the emergency order issued Monday by Governor Baker, The Trustees has made the difficult decision to temporarily close all outdoor properties from Tuesday, March 24-April 7. The gate at World’s End will be locked until April 7.

We know how difficult it has been to get outside, exercise, and connect with nature over the past weeks and we are pleased and proud to be expanding access to our special places while balancing the needs to slow the spread of the virus.

We recognize that World’s End is a beloved site and we have been working hard to reopen safely, in line with CDC guidance and directives from Governor Baker. Please note that, due to concerns about overcrowding, we are limiting capacity to just 50% of our parking lot.

Update: We will reopen five more Trustees properties in a controlled fashion. The planned opening for World’s End is Tuesday, May 19, though that may change depending on evolving guidelines from the Governor’s office. For information on visiting go to thetrustees.org/COVID19
