As predicted by NWS Boulder a brief landspout was observed in an open field as seen from the City of Aurora Public Safety Training Center between 15:09 and 15:13 this afternoon. Images captured looking northeast toward Watkins Rd., north of Quincy Ave. #cowx

A fast-moving landspout hit Franktown near the intersection of Hwy 83 and Hwy 86. 7 businesses within the shopping center sustained roof damage. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported, and all individuals have been accounted for. FFPD remains on scene to provide support.
