Looking forward to joining Jeremy Corbyn on the platform at the #BigMeeting 14 July. To celebrate I've just become a 'Marra', (friend of the Durham Miners' Gala) to help guarantee the future of this incredible trade union gathering. Become a Marra too: friendsofdurhamminersgala.org/join_us

I, Dolours directed by Maurice Sweeney was very powerful & exquisitely edited. This film ought be very big in Ireland. Incredible integration of archival footage, dramatization & of course Ed Moloney 2010 interviews with Dolours Price. There’s a real integrity, not to be missed.

After the referendum there's an incredible frustration with the same old institutional media and film narratives. There is a massive vacuum where we need to collectively explore story tell, narratives, representation in film.

Did we tell you that we received an award from the WorkersFilmFest? Here is the award - swanky, eh? Our acceptance speech thanked the little people - the homosexualists armed with sewing machines and glitter were top of the list.
