Our wool towns are steeped in history and Long Melford is no different. Holy Trinity Church which sits next to the village green is one of the finest examples of a wool church anywhere. Long Melford is also home to Kentwell Hall and @MelfordHallNT

Tea, anyone? Lavenham has a host of welcoming cafes serving home made food and drink. Why not treat yourself to a hearty breakfast or an afternoon tea? Or both?

Clare’s independent shops make it a great place for a spot of shopping, away from the hustle and bustle of larger towns and cities. From antiques to art, sweets to gifts, there’s plenty of choice in Clare

Lovely day for a walk round @clare_country park; now with two sets of wooden sheep, one set guarding the castle. Quite appropriate for a Suffolk wooltown The Wool Towns - South Suffolk Clare Walks.
