Why is it GP surgeries can have a go if we are five mins late yet they can run late & we aren’t allowed to complain? Arrived early for a diabetic foot check appt waited 45mins started to hypo had to leave receptionist rude & unapologetic this is why we are frustrated with GPs

If you are #T1D I do not recommend Pharmacy2U for your prescription my last to prescription for insulin have arrived with melted ice packs and insulin which is at room temperature when I addressed the situation with them they said it’s fine to use if it’s not gone cloudy 😡😡😡

I recently had an appt with my diabetes team was advised not to lie to my pump about carbs! Having given up Diet Coke and carb counting properly this is the result #type1diabetic #tandemx2 #dexcom #T1D

HCL are amazing but don’t be fooled into thinking they are just plug & go you still need to put time & effort into them you need to be able to carb count well & plan ahead it also takes time to let it do its thing everyone will be offered one but it will be a while #closedloop

Incredibly grateful to PHUT Diabetes who saw me advocate today and helped answer some questions I had. It’s amazing to be able to walk into our centre and be seen even when I didn’t have an appointment. Thank you is not enough 😊❤️

Excellent service from Portsmouth Hospitals University NHST for carpel tunnel decompression sadly oaks healthcare surgery are not able to offer any appointment for stitches removal. Any advice welcome!

Today #T1D has lived with me got 40yrs. I am lucky to have great tech courtesy of the NHS and wonderful diabetes team in Portsmouth. Life is better with an HCL and thankfully I am well!!
