Year 5 Dorset Residential 2022. Our first stop was at Lyme Regis where we saw Mary Anning's statue and her grave. Did you know that the famous tongue twister was written about Mary Anning? 'She sells sea shells...' #dorset2022 #inspiringadventurers

Year 5 Dorset Residential 2022. Day 2-Bucklers Hard - we learnt how ships (like HMS Victory) were built & were made watertight. They had to 'caulk' them using oakum (pulled threads from old rope) stuffing the gaps with it & covering it with tar. #dorset2022 #inspiringadventurers

We will remember! We marked Remembrance Day with a short service held at St Sabinus. Our Year 6 read the names of the fallen soldiers from our parish in World War I & World War II. They also performed the poem 'Dulce et Decorum Est' by Wilfred Owen.
