#Arctic tundra is the northernmost biome. It's a vast, dry landscape that's frozen most of the year. Most tundra contains #permafrost. Tundra #wildfires are rare, but due to warming 🌡️ & more ⚡, tundra fires are expected to increase & can release massive amounts of methane.
