Last week I enjoyed the Mayor's Trophy Tournament at Woking Park Bowling Club. Congratulations to Knaphill Bowls Club for winning, and thank you to all who attended. More than £450 was raised for Woking Community Hospital Diagnostic Centre.

One of my final civic events of my Mayoral term was attending the Mole Valley civic dinner in Leatherhead last Friday 17 May. It was a pleasure to meet with many civic leaders.

Last weekend I was invited to a town twinning event in Rastatt one of Woking's two twin towns. Both towns have so much in common, we need to encourage more links between our towns. Please do get in contact if you would be interested in building links with our German twin town.
