Additionally, State Route 5, including the Buffalo Skyway, is closed in both directions from I-190 to State Route 179 (Milestrip) until further notice, due to high winds. The truck and trailer restrictions go into effect at midnight tonight.

At 9:13 pm the #Buffalo airport recorded a wind gust of 68mph. This is the strongest wind gust for Buffalo since January 2024.
