We have an exciting new shape in the WMU math tutor lab. On March 24, 2023, a group of WMU students and Dr. David Richter built a Zometool model of the grand 600-cell.

This past weekend, two of our WMU math ed masters students, Shekira Edgar and YJ Arciaga, presented their work at Colorado State University as part of the Colorado Conference for Underrepresented Students in Mathematics.

The past two weeks, future teachers in Dr. Levin’s Math 2540 (hybrid content and methods course) got a chance to teach mini-lessons on number talks and multiplication to fourth graders out in Gull Lake Community Schools.
