Work has begun on the extension to Elliot House. This 'extension' is actually a listed building from 1820 and has been used for the past 80 years as an RAF club. One of its most famous visitors was Neil Armstrong who visited the club in 1972 when he was made an honorary member!

Marc McQuade has won the SJIB/Edmundson Apprentice of the Year award! He is a truly deserving winner having worked consistently hard throughout his apprenticeship. Everyone is so proud of him and he is now undertaking the role of Junior Electrical Engineer at WMQ. Well done Marc!

A great big thank you to every single person who supported Gordon's recent trek to Everest Base Camp! Gordon took on the challenge to complete the mammoth uphill trek to 5364 metres in Nepal. Over £12,500 has been raised to support the work of the Electrical Industries Charity

WMQ is delighted to say that every Electrician employed by the company is now 18th Edition qualified! This most up to date version of the wiring regulations ensures that all installations are conducted to the safest standards possible. 'Doing things properly' for over 40 years.

A big congrats to Craig Gallacher who recently completed a Bachelor of Eng degree and graduated with 1st class honours. Craig works in the Estimating Team and can put all this knowledge into practice as he estimates mech projects up to a value of £5m. Well done Craig!

The all new St James Centre in Edinburgh is coming soon! 1.7m sq ft of retail + leisure. WMQ providing the heating and chilled water install with assoc valves, rads and cont units. The attached pic is a work in progress and is being replicated dozens of times throughout facility!
