Got this mind trick I play when I am writing. I call it meta-writing. Writing about starting writing usually with a greeting to the reader. For some reason it just melts writer's block.

Got my own version of DOGE happening. Radical thinning of politics of all persuasions from my X feed. Time for my attention to be focused elsewhere.

Just had Grok generate a simple one page Flask app. Copy paste run & works locally no editing to get idea up and running. Granted it isn't very complex but still.

Got my first web app up! Lots to do I am sure but functional. Site status checker. I wanted one for my home network that I could access from a web browser. Basic. Neat to see working.

Sitechkr.net is up and running. That was fast. Simple web app to check if websites are up or not. Blog section not done, yet.

Got sitechkr facebook page set up. Now to see if I can integrate Facebook comments with sitechkr.net site.

Brainstorming with Grok for next web app idea. Putting my portfolio of domain names back to work. Some of them anyway.

Putting the virtual home lab to use this week learning basic Active Directory design and setup. Breaking things and fixing them!

Stress testing myself on Active Directory setup today before I decide on my next lab project. Intermittent Fasting (no breakfast or lunch), listening to Daily Cyberthreat briefing on Spotify, and watching YouTube cybersecurity videos. Time to write it up!

I finally figured out how to turn off programmer brain so I can sleep more than 3 hrs a night! Reading. Specifically, reading philosophy books. They get my brain out of the problem solving loop! Maybe exercise my mind in a different way?

Upgraded my old 2015 T430 replacing the HD with an SSD. What a difference.

Home lab is now all FreeBSD! T430, BeePC, and a custom built workstation. Forgot how much I enjoyed this OS.

Sunday has been all about playing with Debian via Devuan. Two of three machines converted. Just got the Beepc left. Already miss FreeBSD a bit but X-plane on Devuan was plug n play. First time using ddrescue. Retrieving data from a usb drive that won’t mount. Working well.

Back to FreeBSD. Wine to run an astrology program. Maybe, linux compat to run x-plane? Just goofing around. I find getting my lab network running smoothly rather satisfying in itself. Might be time to think of something more adventurous to do with it.

After some deep diving into my home (computer) lab it is time to switch back into magic/mystic writing. The tech staying in the background supporting the esoteric side of life. Spirals. Life is full of them. With each loop, learning and growth.
