Since this is now a Twitter thing requiring a response: 1. This was 2017 but somehow a 2025 story 🤷‍♂️ 2. CBA signed in 2024 has 14hrs cap for on duty time & 10 hrs off between shifts which is now in line with the industry rec standard. Metro focused on this as a key safety add.

🔴🚇 service this morning has been way short of what we want to deliver & what our customers deserve. We apologize & will con’t to improve. Seems to be a very uncommon signal to train system issue impacting train movement around Woodley Station. Team is fully engaged to fix issue

Coming this Sunday Metro has another service improvement! Weekends 🚇 opens earlier & closes later, that helps get people to-from work, nightlife & airports. Silver Line splits to balance frequency to more people. Generated cost savings are funding these better services. #wmata
