The Cherry Blossom Kite Festival brought hundreds of families to the National Mall last weekend. MTPD participated by giving out pink hats, kites, and many other cherry blossom-themed goodies. Staff enjoyed sharing smiles and swag with the visitors at the MTPD booth. #wmata

MTPD recruited the Easter Bunny to bring cheer and candy to pre-k students at Browne Education Campus this week. Officers helped students find Easter eggs filled with sweets treats that were hidden on the playground. What fun! #wmata

MTPD's Youth Advisory Council had a battle of the brains this week as participants brainstormed real-world business ideas in a 'Shark Tank' idea lab. After hearing from two local entrepreneurs, students were inspired to create! Lots of fun and hands-on learning! #wmata
