We held our Annual General Meeting recently. We'd like to thank the Riverside Branch of the WindsorPublicLibrary for hosting us. We look very forward to new partnerships and new ways to support literacy! windsorliteracyvolunteers.ca/2023/05/our-an…
We are honoured to be able to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Windsor-Essex and their literacy program. Their work is extremely valuable to children & youth; and being able to be a small part of the literacy component of their work is our pleasure!
We are honoured to be able to support Downtown Windsor Community Collaborative / RE/ACT and their literacy program. Literacy is such a critical skill for those new to our country and for the underprivileged. Our world needs a lot more of these folks and these folks need a lot more of our support!
Our friends at the Connections Early Years Family Centre were kind enough to send us an update on how they’re making use of our support from earlier this year! bit.ly/3WotNEU
Friends, the Book Buddy program generously operated by the WindsorPublicLibrary could use some volunteers. If you or anyone you know has the time to help with such a vital life skill, visit here: bit.ly/3yGF1wG
Today is International #LiteracyDay. This year, it will be celebrated under the theme of "Promoting multilingual education: Literacy for mutual understanding and peace". Make a massive impact in someone's life, starting at the WindsorPublicLibrary : windsorpubliclibrary.com/?portfolio=boo…
We had the opportunity recently to visit Ready Set Go Windsor Ready Set Go downtown. Our Mary-Jo Solarik is seen presenting our cheque supporting their programming to Ready Set Go's Robyn Alexander.
We were overjoyed recently to be able to present Liam Giles-Hayes, VP Programs & Strategic Relations, United Way Windsor-Essex Chatham-Kent with our support for the Reading Club, part of their wonderful Summer Eats for Kids program.
We were delighted to meet with our friends at Connections Early Years Family Centre to provide our ongoing support!
