Hoshi felt static throughout his entire body but he wasn’t really hurt by the attack which made him feel kinda weird. “Woah, that was a cool ninjutsu! Who exactly are you?”

Since he told him his name it was only right that he should return the favor. “Nice to meet you Zenko, my name is Hoshi Senju!” The genin was intrigued to hear that Zenko was much more capable. “Wow, I haven’t learned any lightning style jutsu yet!”

Hoshi began scratching his head, a bit embarrassed by the question due to his lineage. “I could use wood style but I wouldn’t exactly call it perfect…” He had an affinity for wood release but his poor chakra control prevented him from actually pulling any off.
