Yet, as shown in remarkable research I've just written about for Byline Times, Pew also had a #learningdisability In fact, before he signed up, he was regarded as incapable of contributing to society and was segregated from his fellow men in an institution.

medRxiv Diana Berrent Güthe Hannah Davis Louise Sigfrid Janet Scott Tom Drake @TweedieChap They conclude: 'Policymakers need ensure there is long-term support for people experiencing #LongCovid & plan for lasting long-term population morbidity. Funding to understand mechanisms and identify potential interventions for testing in randomised trials is urgently required.'

This is an interesting and honest take on something I’ve been thinking about a lot, from Jan Walmsley There are no easy answers but maybe we could start by adopting a few guiding principles. #1 might be for folks to be physically present when decisions are made about them

Barnstorming talks by Merry, Deborah Coles and @AndyMcCulloch5 at tonight's book launch, chaired by Caoilfhionn Gallagher KC. They all spoke about the horrible and inexplicable way some Coroners treat bereaved families. (Buy the book!) uk.bookshop.org/books/why-can-…

I usually have to apologise to my clients about how they (and often how I) have been treated by the Coroner. It takes me about a week to 'recover' from each inquest. Often my bereaved clients are further traumatised by the inquest process, which is completely bonkers.

Over the years, I’ve covered too many cases where a hospital has failed to admit its errors. But this is the first case I’ve seen where a coroner’s actions have effectively overturned an NHS investigation that found mistakes. (1/n)

La Casa de Carlota is a successful design agency in Barcelona. Its striking visual style is thanks to its design team's neurodiversity More great stories of People Fixing the World bbc.in/3fjdt6J

I don’t know which is more amazing, the guitarist/composer Richard Durrant or his guitar made from 5,000-year-old fenland bog oak - you can see both in this film (two years old but I just came across it) m.youtube.com/watch?v=BfizNN…
