1/3 CHRONIC NON-ANEMIC IRON DEFICIENCY I have seen quite a few patients with chronically depleted iron stores (ferritin < 10 x several years) who never develop anemia. How is that possible? ✅ The body needs ~20–25 mg of iron/day to support new RBC production
