There is always a reason. Intuitively, QBs tend to want to change launch points to create (perceived) better throwing lanes or a better line of sight. Is it designed? Probably not. Do a lot of young QBs do it? Yes. Do vets do it? Yes. It doesn’t mean it’s the correct solution,
