so funny that *every time* the rmt strike people live it large with "THE DRIVERS ARE PAID 56 GRAND A YEAR!! HAVE AMAZING BENEFITS!!! WHAT DO THEY HAVE TO STRIKE FOR??" and it never seems to sink in that there might be a correlation between those two things...

So, on Sunday, we’ll have Chelsea, who have now been sanctioned by the UK govt, playing a team recently acquired (with UK govt approval) by a state who have been bombing Yemen for 7 years, causing 400,000+ deaths, but who haven’t been sanctioned at all. Seems fair.

You know they’ve now officially banned out fans buying boro tickets for FA cup QF, meaning we play disadvantaged in front of a friendly boro crowd.😳 Lol meanwhile the Government still buys billions of pounds of gas direct from Russia every week. Make it make sense? 🤔

All you ever ask of your players is that they give everything they have on the pitch .... gutted , absolutely gutted ,but I'm so proud of my team.

Eddie Dempsey from the RMT: "Its a bit of a cheek asking are trade unions being greedy asking for a pay rise. The FTSE 350 top companies profits have gone up 73% since 2019 - when are we going to ask are they being greedy?". Well said!👏🏽👏🏽

What’s driving England’s housing crisis? In part, it’s because we’re now a country of *multiple* home ownership and private renters. In the last 20 years the proportion of adults owning multiple homes doubled, the %s of 16-34 y/os buying a home almost halved. 🏘️🧵

If Messi thinks, I disagree. If Messi speaks, I ignore. If Messi fails, I’m happy. If the world is against Messi, I am the world. If Messi has 7 billion fans, I am none of them. If Messi has no haters, it’s because I no longer exist.

since the 1980s a major component of the UK housebuilding has been completely AWOL. it’s not difficult to see what it is:

This Chelsea ownership inherited a squad who were world/European champions with a truly world class academy. Now they're addicted to signing downgrade players and bin off top youth players with a club connection as they're just commodities. At least they won the transfer window.

New report from Oxfam out today. The richest 1% account for more carbon emissions than the poorest two thirds of humanity combined. Climate change is class war. theguardian.com/environment/20…
