What’s Going on at the Baseball Field? The stormwater pipe installed two years ago has failed and is being replaced now to protect Wildwood from flooding this Spring. The consultants hope to discover why the pipe failed when they dig it up. 1 of 3

With the assistance of our councillor, Sherri Rollins, a Zoom meeting was arranged with the consultants, City Water & Waste dept, the Naturalist Branch and WHACC where it was agreed the Naturalists would replant the site again to restore that bit of riparian forest. 2 of 3

The Forestry department prepared a tree protection zone plan to stop any further damage to existing forest resulting in the entire site being ringed by snow a fence. Thank you Councillor Sherri Rollins, City Forestry and the Naturalist branch for your continued support. 3 of 3

The rinks are closed! Thanks everyone for the great season. Thanks Tom for keeping those rinks in tiptop shape. See you all next year!

FYI: The construction site at the baseball field's stormwater outfall is scheduled to be cleaned up once sod is available to make the necessary repairs.

Want or need some hay bales? Feel free to grab one (or two or three!) from the community centre. Can be used as ground cover or seating around your fire pit. Or whatever you'd like!

There's still some free hay bales at the community centre if you want to include them around your outdoor fire pit!
