Today I saw 3 of our young scholars engaged in a great discussion about the book ‘Eliza’s Freedom Road.’ Their conversation couldn’t have been better. I stopped to ask questions abt the book & was impressed with their thoughtful responses. Way to be an avid reader. Mehlville School District

4th grade mathematicians use their skills to solve multi-step word problems. The discussions taking place abt the strategies being used were intelligent and seeing the students share the equations they wrote to solve the word problems was impressive. My favorite performance was Brandon’s pop culture mashup where he played songs including Runaway on the piano.
