WHO Mauritius facilitated validation of Pandemic Fund proposal with Ministries of Health, Agriculture, Environment, Finance, FAO, World Bank and Indian Ocean Commission. This is critical for scaling up national public health emergencies preparedness and response effort.

WHO supports Mauritius in assessing and empowering its National Immunization Technical Advisory Group (NITAG). First external review of the MAUNITAG, established in 2018, was done in February 2025 by WHO and the NITAG Support Hub to enhance its functionality and maturity level.
