Wasn’t able to go to the comic shop on Wednesday so I haven’t been able to read the second issue of planet of the apes vs the fantastic four yet and I’m going mad because issue one was such a great surprise that I need issue 2 right this second

I lowkey need Ryan north to touch on how sad it was that Sue was left to raise Johnny after their mothers death and their dad spiralling because I feel like it’s barley touched upon to the point I see people treating it as cute and not something that majorly affected both of them

Sue worrying she didn’t do enough while raising Johnny and knowing she could have prevented him from going to space with them originally while Johnny wrestling with knowing Sue gave up a majority of her childhood for him and feeling like nothing he does will ever make up for it

Also while i loved multi-issue stuff, they were genuinely great. I’m glad we’re back to one-shots it’s what I’ve always loved most about Ryan North’s work ALSO since we’re getting Johnny and Reed content i wanna say we should get a Ben and Sue one-shot they are NEVER put together

Thinking about how the invincible woman Sue carried the team to an unhealthy degree we see her interfering with key learning points of the FFs early days in places she didnt need too and how they likely never learned stuff our FF boys did which means they might have an upper hand
