A big thank you to Melanie and Khala, our RCDSB ASD & ISA team for speaking to our Sr. Class today! We enjoyed learning about ways we are each unique individuals who don’t all experience the world the same way! We are building compassion & understanding with those around us.

We harvested our last garden produce in the rain today! We prepared 30+ bags of kale, 30+ bags of tomatoes, and included our favourite recipes for donation to the Madawaska Valley Food Bank. So awesome that what we grew will be enjoyed by our community! #RCDSBDifferencemakers

Fresh salsa! We had some leftover produce from our garden and we figured we could treat ourselves! Students did all the prep and baked their own pita chips too… enough to share with our whole school community! #RCDSBDifferencemakers

Yes… it was a tasty as it looks!!! Zucchini chocolate chip loaf was made by our Sr. Class and shared with the whole school community. There was even extra to take home! This was the last of our garden zucchini! #RCDSBDifferenceMakers

We completed our #StudentVote for Mayor for South Algonquin today! This was part of our ongoing CIVIX Canada (EN) learning program held on the same day as #municipalelection2022. Did we vote the same as the community? Did we elect the same candidate for mayor?
