After discussions with my family, I have notified Head Coach Jay Johnson that I am respectfully decommitting from attending and playing baseball at Louisiana State University and reopening my recruitment process.

James will be attending and playing baseball at Northwestern University. NU plays Division 1 baseball in the BIG 10 and is ranked 6th academically by U.S. News and World Report. We’re grateful that he gets to continue to chase his athletic and academic dreams.
