This year's Chorlton Christmas bottlings are here! First up we have an 8yo Peallach (Ledaig) fully matured in a rioja barrique. Expect big ashy peat smoke, buttery pastries, black spices and lots of fruit...

Next is a 17yo Ben Nevis - fruity, funky, oily and mineralic, just as a Nevis should be!

And finally we have a 17yo undisclosed Speysider from an oloroso hogshead. Super-dark and seasonally-appropriate, with chocolate, espresso, nuts and dark fruits. Prices are very reasonable on all these, and they're available on the site and from the usual stockists now.

At #huli we have started a small project on finding local woods to age alcohol instead American oak. With a help of a wood scientist and Bharath timber depot in Hunsur, we have zeroed in four trees to pilot (from L to R: jackfruit, red cedar, hunsur teak and rose).

Three special new summer bottlings are here! First up is a 7yo Nc'nean - carbon-neutral and made w/ organic Scottish barley, but more importantly super-tasty with a complex fruitiness that keeps developing in the glass...

Next is an 18yo Caol Ila. A lovely limey and honeyed smokiness to this one, with some of the complexity of much older Caol Ilas. Top notch.

And finally a 14yo Ben Nevis. Olive oil, tropical fruits, sweet citrus oils - it's Ben Nevis and it's wonderful. You can't go wrong. All available now, or very shortly, from the usual places.
