Love that Keir Starmer sees older women as an unaffordable burden on the state. Women who've slogged all their lives, raised families, and whose pension pots are already on average much less than men's, now they've served their purpose and helped elect him, they can fvck off.

PS This isn't a new thought we (MSE) presented a report in 2017 called "Sharper teeth: the need for ombudsman reform" it's here images6.moneysavingexpert.com/images/documen… It was well received and discussed in parliament but ultimately no action

I’m really concerned about the impact of the rise in employers’ NICs on GP surgeries – I’ve heard from several who say it will be devastating for patient care. Along with other @theGreenParty MPs I’ve written to the Chancellor urging her to rethink the rise.

Hospitals under extreme pressure, people getting sick with all manner of airborne infections and Scot Gov Health does absolutely nothing. It really doesn't have to be this way. I truly despair of the way the NHS & public health is being destroyed when tools exist to prevent it.

Labour MP Jas Athwal in the commons asks what the government is doing to tackle health inequalities and disparities in the workplace. Minister could have suggested Athwal starts with the flats he rents with black mould and ant infestations

Can we just take a moment to reflect on this horrifying statistic… Out of all the people currently in hospital with COVID in Wales, at least 72% of them were admitted for another reason and were infected with Covid SINCE THEY WERE ADMITTED. Why is nothing done to prevent this?

2020: He’s not lying, the very idea is insane 2022: He was lying to scum who don’t matter and deserved it, and that was good 2024: He’s lying to everyone to win the election, and that’s smart and savvy Also 2024: He has an honesty problem

Having spoken to a number of WASPI women in the last 24 hours, they will neither forget nor forgive those Labour politicians who were happy to pose for photos and pledged support when in opposition, only to betray the promises they made as soon as they entered government.

Backbench Labour MPs need to topple him pronto, and replace him with an economic populist; if they want to keep their seats in 2029. Seemingly everyone can see it except for Labour MPs and Starmer’s cheerleaders.

A local authority’s actions helped drive a disabled woman to attempt to take her own life, after it imposed an “impossible” two-week deadline upon her as part of a discriminatory social care assessment process. buff.ly/41Hqblu
