Subjectivity is a wonderful thing. In a medium like TV we don’t just interpret things differently, we also miss or notice different things. It’s fun hearing different opinions, interpretations and ideas, but it’s not monks delving for objective truth and dogma. Have fun!

This season was an absolute dream. Fabulous. And changes are good. Keeps the story watching experience fresh, while sticking to the spirit of the original story and giving opportunities for surprise and great and memorable character moments.

The best bit about learning Liandrin’s back story and as a viewer trying to find some empathy and understanding of why she went dark, is how she herself tells Nynaeve (the viewer) to stop being so soppy looking for reasons and just revel in her as a self interested villain.

How are people taking screenshots from the show directly from Amazon Prime? I hear the audio of a Mac screen grab when they do it on Dusty Wheel but *normally* the copy protection just gives a black screen.

There’s only so much money to go around. Rings of Power isn’t all that good, and more importantly, there’s no hope of it getting better as it’s not based on anything solid. So yeah, shift the budget. Spend more on making The Wheel of Time (that has a solid structure) happen fast

Always happy to enjoy the moment and not worry too much about the details on a first watch, but returning to the final episode, boy, there’s twenty minutes missing from it at least. Such a rush. I expected cliffhangers, but there is so much unresolved and off-screen action.

Part of me felt this was coming. There was something in all the interviews and promotions that was like goodbye, but I pushed that feeling away every time. Quite devastating. It’s entertainment, fun, but not just the show, loved the whole experience of reactions and discussion.

I can’t watch The Dusty Wheel. I can’t listen to Talk’aran’rhiod. Kritter, Lezbi Nerdy. No. And I love all those guys. Just makes me feel terrible that it’s gone.
