I keep reading, "Boris has a mandate." Surely wrong. At the 2019 election the Conservative Party got a mandate because they won most seats. Regardless, surely they need to govern recognising that the majority of people who voted in 2019, didn't vote Conservative.

Covid and Ukraine have arisen since the 2019 election, so there has been no electoral mandate for actions taken by Johnson, Truss or Sunak.

Another cabinet reshuffle. Just like the football manager merry go round. Resigned or removed from one job and immediately get another. Failure seems to be a necessary requirement rather than a barrier.
