The first northern right whale record for Ireland in 114 years, recorded by Irish Whale and Dolphin Group!! Until yesterday, the last known occurence of this species in Ireland was a 46 ft male killed by the whaling ship "Erling" and landed at Rusheen Island on 3 June 1910. iwdg.ie/1st-irish-reco…
