1 1/2 hours from Melbourne is a forest of rare, remarkable creatures. Majestic flowering mountain ash, over 100 meters tall, are sanctuaries for all sorts of critically endangered creatures. Ask @steve_dimo to step up and save them. #GFNP #savethetrees vnpa.org.au/campaigns/gfnp/

This is a broken promise. A government that is valuing short term profit at great environmental expense. This is an assault on the greatest gift of democracy - the protection of public lands for future generations Jacinta Allan Steve Dimopoulos MP watch this: pbs.org/kenburns/the-n…

Broken trust on Parks, slashing Parks Vic, and abandoning nature during a climate crisis—this govt is dismantling its environmental legacy. Victorians demand accountability. Act now for nature. theage.com.au/environment/co…

On #InternationalVolunteerDay we celebrate the backbone of nature protection: our community volunteers. With Jacinta Allan/Steve Dimopoulos MP's cuts to Parks Victoria these partnerships are so vital to safeguarding our wildlife & web of life for future generations. 💚Wombat Forestcare

Its good to see this story getting the air time it deserves (which is a whole lot more than can be said for the missing environment Min Steve Dimopoulos MP and Jacinta Allan, Mary-Anne Thomas MP ). We need a Minister for the environment not a conflicted Min. theage.com.au/environment/co…

It is a disgrace. This is happening in the promised Wombat-Lerderderg National Park. It is impossible that this amount of timber removal of fallen trees is for reduction of fire risk – perhaps we should completely clear the forest to eliminate any risk of a bushfire.

What a biased and rubbished article ABC News. What next, should we ask the foxes how to manage the hen house? We need ecological restoration not more of the same ideas that got our forests into this mess
