As we grapple with the loss of snow gums & alpine ash, our friends in the west face similar collapse. Sadly it is all consistent with what the IPCC 6th assessment warned us about.

In 2018 Lily D'Ambrosio MP committed to all trees on public land greater then 2.5m in diameter would be protected. This tree in the Yarra Ranges National Park is set to be chopped down by ForestFireManagement even though it has been independently assessed by an Arborist to be of low risk 1/2
