Western Australia’s hottest, driest summer on record. Forests collapsing & farmers suffering. Conditions climate scientists warned of decades ago if we kept burning oil & gas.

And yet the Roger Cook ALP gov wants more fossil fuel projects!!

Fossil fuels are full of toxins that affect our bodies via air pollution.

That’s why shifting to renewables is not only important for addressing climate change, but also for reducing disease and improving our health. 👇🏽

What’s even weirder is Australia wanting to host a UN climate conference despite our determination to keep approving new gas & coal mines even after the black summer bushfires, the Lismore floods, and all the corral bleaching on the once Great Barrier Reef

I’m very concerned about the direction of the Albanese government, so I’ve signed this letter.

Without a climate trigger the government's environmental law reforms will not stop new fossil fuel developments.

Note that this is not talking about plastic pollution, when plastic containers are discarded. It’s primarily talking about the emissions produced by creating the plastic.

As we grapple with the loss of snow gums & alpine ash, our friends in the west face similar collapse. Sadly it is all consistent with what the IPCC 6th assessment warned us about.

In 2018 Lily D'Ambrosio MP committed to all trees on public land greater then 2.5m in diameter would be protected. This tree in the Yarra Ranges National Park is set to be chopped down by ForestFireManagement even though it has been independently assessed by an Arborist to be of low risk 1/2
