With summer heat and less than ideal water conditions here in WV we decided to give the fish a break. But we couldn’t resist and set a course for state college PA. We perfected euro nymphing at night using UV head lamps that reflected our lines. Over 4000 trout a mile!

The Last Brookie of the Year- Those pink spots are beginning to pop and that means spawning season for the Brook Trout. As anglers, we should take some extra care on the stream during this time of year to give these beauties the space they need for a successful spawn!
