The Tree Marking Refresher Course participants were treated to some excellent speakers recently! They learned from Barry Davidson, GM of Westwind Forest Stewardship Inc., Jodi Hall from Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, and Norm Dokis from Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, on topics from wildlife and biodiversity to Indigenous values.

Through our work with Westwind Forest Stewardship Inc., we were able to donate a clothing library of boots and raingear to Parry Sound Forest School, a not for profit group that provides outdoor children's programming. #ItTakesAForest to introduce future generations to our #forests.

This morning, we heard from professionals in the forestry sector Forests Ontario's Student-Employer Engagement Day (SEED) about different forestry career paths & the need for forestry professionals. Thanks to all the speakers for helping students plant their roots!
