📚 World Book Day 2024 📚 Dress as a word! We had to guess each others words and then pick 3 to use in a sentence! We then up-levelled our sentences by adding lots of VCOP!

Last week we moved onto the new PE topic of gymnastics! We focused on jumps and leaps. Just look at these fantastic positions!

P5/4 have been working extremely hard and have filled their class coin jar! Children have chosen a pyjama and movie afternoon as a reward. Children are welcome to bring pyjamas/oodies to school to get changed into at lunchtime. 🌟

Westquarter Wolves had their first outing of the season (and our first as a school since before Covid) to Graeme High today to take part in a friendly tournament. All players demonstrated some very impressive skills and we managed to take the win! Well done Wolves! #WQWolves 🐺🏀

Happy Easter! 🐣 We had a great afternoon creating Easter cards for our friends and family! We hope everyone has a fantastic Easter holidays!

We carried out our own surveys by deciding on a question and possible answers and how we would collect the data. Then we used the information we gathered to create our own graphs, ensuring we had included a title, labelled the x and y axis and used an appropriate scale.

Today we had great fun creating Speech Sandwiches! We will now use these to help us remember the steps we need to take to use speech marks correctly. This is part of our work around dialogue! ✍️ As you can see, they looked good enough to eat! 😋😃
