IT MATTERS WHEN YOU: - come early to practices - encourage a struggling teammate - challenge a lazy teammate - listen attentively to your coaches - treat everyone with respect It matters to your teammates. It matters to your coaches. It matters to your leadership. #ItMatters

IT TAKES WHAT IT TAKES Don't wish it were easier. Don't shortchange it. Don't complain about it. Don't blame someone else. Commit to doing what it takes. Make the necessary investments. Enthusiastically attack the challenges. Take full responsibility to get the job done.

COACHES...never apologize for having high standards...that’s loving your players beyond what they can see or understand! 💯

5 R's OF LEADING A CHAMPIONSHIP CULTURE 1. RECRUIT talented people who embrace your Standards 2. REWARD those who meet your Standards 3. REMIND those who fall short of your Standards 4. REPLACE those who can't meet your Standards 5. REMOVE those who sabotage your Standards

Serious players are intentional because they want to achieve. When it comes to preparation, are you a GET TO or GOT TO player? Practice/weights/conditioning/working out are privileges, not punishments. Serious players don’t think they’ve GOT TO work; rather they GET TO improve!

PLAYERS: It's not your parent's responsibility, your coach's responsibility, or your teammate's responsibility to get you to be coachable and work hard. It is 100% your responsibility. You control your attitude and effort regardless of your surroundings and circumstances!!

Advice for Young Coaches: 6) Bring your sons and daughters around the team frequently. Expose them to practices, conditioning, bus rides, locker room celebrations & heartbreaks. Their relationship with the players and exposure to the team culture and life lessons is so valuable.

A coaches spouse, partner or loved one is the real MVP. They listen to you rant & rave, take on more responsibility often at home. Pick up your phone call at 2 am when driving late & manage when you have to be away from home. 🏆❤️
